People of Germany: Ralf Möller (born 1959) is an international actor and former competitive bodybuilder, known for his roles of Brick Bardo in Cyborg, Kjartan in The Viking Sagas, the title character in Conan the Adventurer, Hagen in Gladiator, Thorak in The Scorpion King, and Ulfar in Pathfinder. He began bodybuilding at age 17 and was the German Champion by age 25. He began a film career in 1987 with Cyborg. In 1992, he appeared in Universal Soldier with Dolph Lundgren and Jean-Claude Van Damme. His two biggest mainstream roles to date were in Ridley Scott’s Gladiator and in The Scorpion King. As one of the German actors to have found success in Hollywood, Möller was the Grand Marshal of the 2008 Steuben Parade in New York City.
